Terms of use for Highland Lakes Barndominiums
These terms took effect 2026-09-13. Using the site means you accept them.
Who runs it, and what it is
Highland Lakes Barndominiums is a marketing and referral service run by Compass Camper LLC (Oregon), doing business as Compass Lead Group. Compass Camper LLC is not a licensed contractor and does no barndominium and post-frame home building work. Whatever you hire someone to build, an independent contractor builds it under a contract between the two of you, and Compass Camper LLC is not a party to that contract.
The county and permit pages
The permit, septic, floodplain, aquifer, licensing and financing pages are general guidance. Every item carries its source and its read date. Counties differ and rules change, so check any requirement with the county, the river authority, the state agency or your lender before you lean on it. Treat none of it as legal, engineering or lending advice.
Sending a request
A request asks Compass Camper LLC to introduce you to an independent contractor. It does not oblige you to hire anyone, and it does not oblige any contractor to take the job. Compass Camper LLC makes no warranty about any contractor's work, prices, schedule or conduct.
Liability, and which state's law applies
As far as the law permits, Compass Camper LLC is not liable for any loss that comes from using this site, or from a contract you sign with a contractor introduced through it. Oregon law governs these terms.
